Storytelling Methods

Storytelling is at the heart of how we learn, teach, and remember. I guide students, educators, and community members in using story as a powerful tool for connection, healing, and change. Whether through podcasts, short films, or digital media, I focus on helping people find their voice and honor their truth. Storytelling expertise includes:

• Zine-making as reflection: a low-tech, high-impact method for processing story and emotion through art and writing.

• Archival Storytelling – connecting historic materials, letters, and photographs with present-day community narratives.

College Financial Literacy for Indigenous Students & Families

As a graduate student, I earned over $80,000 in scholarship money to cover college expenses. I finished graduate school debt-free! I am passionate to share with Indigenous students and families strategies and information about how to pay for college primarily with scholarships. 

Museum Curation & Indigenous Education

I provide consulting grounded in expertise on U.S. Indian boarding schools and Indigenous education. With a focus on culturally responsible museum curation and restorative storytelling. I support projects that aim to address historical truths and elevate Native-led narratives with care, accuracy, and community accountability. This work helps create meaningful exhibitions that honor Indigenous perspectives and experiences. My collaborations have included the Cumberland County Historical Society in Carlisle, PA, and the Museum of Civilizations in Rome, Italy.

Cultivating Healing-Centered Spaces

I partner with institutions and communities to integrate healing practices that honor Indigenous presence, story, and ceremony. Together we design programs and gatherings that nurture reflection, safety, and genuine belonging.

College Financial Literacy for Indigenous Students & Families

I design culturally grounded educational materials and curriculum that center Indigenous histories, perspectives, and knowledge systems. Working with tribes, schools, universities, and community organizations, I help create learning experiences that are accurate, inclusive, and respectful of Indigenous worldviews.
